Palau concentrates in a single itinerary some of the most representative points of Micronesia, from vertical walls and strong current channels to caves, lagoons, and reefs teeming with life. Diving is mainly drift diving and requires proficiency in handling currents, making it suitable for experienced divers. Between dives, it is common to encounter reef sharks, manta rays, Napoleon wrasses, barracudas, and large schools of trevallies, in addition to reef and macro fauna in more sheltered areas. The standout feature of this trip is its timing with the new moon, coinciding with the reproductive aggregation of humphead parrotfish: hundreds of individuals gather for spawning, a seasonal phenomenon that is challenging to witness and limited to very specific dates. The pace alternates several daily dives starting early in the morning with rest periods on board, totaling around 18 dives throughout the expedition.

Arrival in Koror and Preparations

Arrival at Koror International Airport and transfer to accommodation prior to embarkation. Day reserved for rest after the journey and preparation of equipment before the start of the expedition.
